IELTS - Tips for the Speaking test
The speaking part is usually a conversation about you, your plans for the future, your past studies, the reason for which you are taking the IELTS, your country, your town. Therefore be prepared for these subjects. You should prepare something to say about them. In addition, the examiner will show you a card with an argument you are supposed to discuss about. The thing you have to remember is: use easy words and expressions if you are not very confident and everything will go well. To be able to communicate what you think is far more important than doing it with a perfect English accent. Therefore, don't wary if your pronunciation is not exactly a British one. That's not the main point. Your understanding of what the examiner says and the ability to communicate without grammar mistakes is more important. The conversation lasts usually 15-20 minutes and will be recorded. Don't panic about that!!
The Speaking part of the test have been changed on July 1, 2001. It is now made up of three parts :-
In Part 1 the candidate answers general questions about themselves, their homes/ families, their jobs/studies, their interests, and a range of similar familiar topic areas. This part lasts between four and five minutes.
In Part 2 the candidate is given a verbal prompt on a card and is asked to talk on a particular topic. The candidate has one minute to prepare before speaking at length, for between one and two minutes. The examiner then asks one or two rounding-off questions.
In Part 3 the examiner and candidate engage in a discussion of more abstract issues and concepts which are thematically linked to the topic prompt in Part 2. The discussion lasts between four and five minutes.

ReplyDeleteCeritanya sangat bagus dan menarik, dari semua ceritanya saya dapat banyak mengambil hikmah, pada cerita kelahiran saya dapat memetik hikmah bahwa dengan kelahiran seorang anak membuat hidup lebih berarti. Tanpa diduga juga menjadi sumber kebanggaan tersendiri bagi para orang tua. dari cerita lain saya dapat mengambil hikmah bahwa dalam kehidupan sehari-hari kita membutuhkan kesabaran untuk menghadapi berbagai masalah dan cobaan yang menimpah, karena Allah tidak mungkin memberikan cobaan kepada makhluknya, jika tidak mampu menghadapi cobaan tersebut. di balik cobaan tersebut terdapat hikmah yang sangat luar biasa yang diberikan Allah kepada makhluknya yang sabar menghadapi masalah dan cobaan yang di berikan Allah kepadanya.

Makasih sir atas infonya Setelah membaca article ini saya akhirnya tau bahwa ternyata Dalam bagian test speaking biasanya hanya berbicara tentang diri orang yang akan di test,apa rencananya untuk masa depannya,latar belakang pendidikan,apa alasannya masuk ielts dsb mengenai dirinya namun yang harus di perhatikan yaitu jangan sesekali tampak gugup, cobalah untuk tampil percaya diri,dan jangan khawatir kalau tidak terlalu tau ttg bhs british English karna yang paling penting adalah paham apa yang di katakan oleh pemeriksa dan kemampuan untuk berbahasa inggirs dengan baik dan biasanya percakapan ini berlangsung selama 15-20 menit.tapi janganlah panik cobalah untuk tenang dan rileks.

Banyak orang berfikir bahwa pergi ke luar negeri(inggris) artinya mereka bisa belajar berbahasa inggris dengan baik, tetapi seiring berkembangnya teknologi, belajar bahasa inggris bisa dilakukan dengan banyak cara contohnya melalui internet.

Untuk di era ini, itu tidak perlu dilakukan karna kita bisa menemukan tempat kursus untuk bahasa yang ingin kita kuasai seperti bahasa inggris. kita juga bisa menggunakan teknologi yang ada pada saat ini untuk belajar bahasa.

mungkin untuk dahulu, itu tidak mungkin. tapi, di jaman sekarang, kita bisa bekerja sambil belajar. karna sepertinya bekerja sambil belajar juga akan membawa pengaruh yang baik. kita bisabelajar dari kesalahan yang telah kita kerjakan.
